剧情简介 《美国野牛》是1996年的一部剧情片。由迈克尔·柯兰特执导，达斯汀·霍夫曼、丹尼斯·弗兰茨、Sean Nelson等联袂主演。美国野牛，又名American Buffalo、勾心斗角。In a way this is almost like a pornmovie, but instead of sex you have talk. The movie is a 90 minute long filmed conversation. But to me the movie is more entertaining than many actionmovies. It's definitely not for all viewers hence the bad overall ratings, but I can still recommend it. The acting is over the top. Hoffman and Franz is a very funny combination. Seldom have I seen someone make so much out of so little. As oppose to other movies the climax isn't in the ending, every scene is equally important. Not as good as Glengarry glen ross though. GGR was both a character study and a good movie. This is "just" an excellent character study, but with these actors it's enough to make it worth watching.

赱馬觀♣ 说：片名含野牛二字，却不是西部片。通片都在谈打劫，却从来没有实施。正如英文简介所言：这是一部色情片，话痨到色情的程度（西人爱把某类喜好过分夸张形容为porn。foodporn）。马梅的剧本，内核一以贯之：以谎言信任之争表达抑旧扬新的意图。黑人小孩的第一个“慌言”，是俩大人基于陈腐经验的误判；第二个谎言为真，却也非图利施诈，而是受到自尊心的驱使。
大奇特(Grinch) 说：由马梅特的舞台剧本子脱胎而来，仍是一出话痨话剧，电影充分利用了旧货店这个大舞台。霍夫曼的表演依然是全片的亮点所在。
的确良少 说：正大剧场看的。两个人一直在商量是否要去偷野牛硬币的故事，整部电影一个场景，全是对话。
