A feature film shot as a documentary headed for the end of the gasoline rainbow.
Fresh out of high school, dazed n’ confused and on the cusp of adulthood, five teenagers decide to embark on one last adventure. They hop into a second hand van and set off on an 800 km journey to the Pacific coast to see what parties they might find at the end of the rainbow. Along the way, the van becomes a boat, then a freight train, and finally they must make the journey on their young feet. Carefree, they let themselves float along in the direction that adventure and chance send them. This leads to a series of unique encounters with special people from the margins of American society. With Bill and Turner Ross behind the free-wheeling camera, ‘Gasoline Rainbow’ evolves into a hopeful, sensory, Americana-spirited youth film that most of all looks like something it is not: A documentary.

南辕北辞别多日 说：五个不曾被彼得潘带走的孩子，高中毕业后开启的公路旅行，试图在短暂的派对和片刻的欢乐中逃避现实。一路拍到了他们抵达目标的海边，彻夜狂欢后，还是刚刚成年却依然前路不明的年轻人们，他们迷茫的模样，自此结束。we all have our own shit to carry on no matter how old you are. 媒体场观众溜了的很多，的确，从成年人的角度尝试耐心听他们前不搭后语的表述很容易泄气，影评人或许能更快的判定还有没有看下去的必要。 由于本片中“literally”和“like”的使用频率过高，看完直接这两词过敏，有效纠正了我讲话带like的习惯，听我说谢谢你。
身居地狱求杯水 说：docu-fiction，但更像在看ins stories 集锦，太碎，重心不明。
