While Céline has repressed her experience and thrown herself back into her old life, Ramón is stuck in the past. Both are grappling with the same question: how can they survive and move on as a couple? Adapted from the testimony of Spanish Bataclan survivor Ramón Gonzalez, Un año, una noche is an intensely empathetic work. The therapeutic process of turning traumatic facts into fiction by committing them to paper has apparently helped this young man return to his life. Filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta’s intuitive direction embraces realism and subjectivity to tackle the central paradox in a wounded psyche: the need to break away from the reality of one’s memories in order to get a grip on reality. Thanks to astonishingly subtle yet explosively emotional performances from Nahuel Pérez Biscayart and Noémie Merlant, these memories become ours, too. They make us feel that together, we can try to heal the collective wound.

双晚 说:B-. 从创伤后的即时反应出发,转向关于种族/排外/亲密关系的大杂烩式探讨,又在屡次濒临失焦后,用一处转折完成对先前一切的重构:原来冷静只是最高级的自我欺骗,而开场那个极具迷惑性的身体镜头就已埋下伏笔。以两人关系演矛盾心理,并在最后的“重定义”中完成合二为一的仪式,在概念上很好,却在执行过程中由于前期视点的散乱而令人困惑。这是聪明,还是小聪明?2022.2.14 Berlinale
粥豆 说:!!!! 一個架空的結構,填滿暴力碎片,而想象中的那個時刻根本沒有發生。這種題材,我很佩服導演沒有怎麼煽情。相反,他選擇去做了更有深度的佈置,比如記憶與暴力的一次次突襲,還有與愛人之間的那種彌留。明明該是一場療傷,到最後才發現,原來愛人一直如影子般隨行。太震撼我了。(坐在第三排最邊,銀幕要被壓成三角形還是看得津津有味。濱口一定會喜歡。)
