It features Mike Pero. The winner will receive NZ$50,000 and one-on-one mentoring with Pero.Season 1's advisors are Cassie Roma and Justin Tomlinson.
The series initially aired in 2010 under the title The Apprentice New Zealand.

坚持猪 说：This version was similar to British style. The two advisors were very impressive, actually I quite like them more than those candidates. Steve, who were in the final two, wish to create a new coffee brand by only just 50,000 dollars. How is it possible? Every adult knows that a successful consuming brand need millions and millions investment to be well known, it's common sense, why he didn't know that especially he had a science degree. He should have had logical sense. It's weird.
