Announced: July 9, 2020 Though the royals-centric series was set to end with its fifth season, "The Crown" will now officially have another installment. Season 4, starring Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II, will debut later this year, before Imelda Staunton assumes the crown for Season 5.
