The moms are so dumb.

Avery's mother, the typical narcissistic parent, exploited her kid, by pushing transition, for money and attention. Phoenix, omfg. It's all about the mom. The most insidious thing is that kids would do anything in exchange for their parents' love, but their parents are incapable of loving anyone other than themselves.

此片打开了我的眼界，同时再度惊异于美国的教育是如此的不同，文化带来的差异足以改变人的灵魂；也惊讶于小朋友在这么小的年纪就如此的独立思考，很确定自己想要什么，虽然未来发生变化，但当下是笃定的态度；能做到开明并支持自己孩子的选择，是多么的不容易，哪怕在美国。

想起天心、唐諾面對已經“會飛”的盟盟⋯⋯數年間稱呼終於從“我女兒”到“我孩子”，現今終於可以自自然然說出“我兒子”。僅僅嘴上/紙上兩個字的差別，他們已然行了千萬重山。

看完最大的感受是，性别只是一个具有社会性的指称而已。人就是人，没有必要太二元论。希望片中的小朋友们都能很幸福啦！
