《建筑大师盖瑞速写》影迷点评

7。毕竟Gehry亲点老友，很易花式谄媚松散。被建筑耽误的巨型立体主义雕塑家，靠心电感应指挥部署工作的将军，将批评拿来穿在身上吸取养分的自恋天才。Talent was liquefied trouble. How do you humanize a building without decoration? Materials could be expressive. How do you tell the difference between an aesthetic discipline and neurosis? Informality, non-institutionalify, humor. Passive / stoic / passinate player with neighborhood.

盖瑞的建筑设计太重心于外观，而最终作品却又为了反传统反常规而突显的过于怪异。我喜欢的建筑首先是内部设计的舒适性，然后是建筑整体的科技力量。至于外观，我住在房间里又看不见，那个是最不在意的。也许我就是那种虚荣心不强的人吧。

Decoration is sin, Material, Space, Light, 好多人对gehry都有误解，他促成了DP的诞生，但是他做设计跟软件根本没关系，就像simpson里面讽刺为随便一捏的纸团，可就是纸团，gehry也是不停的在做physical model推敲，看似无序的设计，其实非常rational。学到好多，周末一定再看一遍。

纪录片拍得真不怎么样……东拍一点西拍一点在凑的感觉，想到哪拍到哪，让观者感觉刚捕捉到了点什么，思维就被打断了……所以看得是又累又郁闷。唯一的感受就是，拍这种大师的纪录片还是应该找个懂点设计的人来拍…波拉克虽然是Gehry请来的，但真是非常非常失策啊

The film never grows old at any point in its lapse. The expositional shots that Pollack chooses within the structures Gehry built are phenomenal. As much as one wishes they could be in Germany or Spain and look up into the sky under these sheets of twisted metal, this film chooses to show you the best representation of the actual feeling it can. And the footage from the inside of the cancer center Gehry built (along with the touching story and thought behind the design) really moves you.
