《炭》影迷点评

拍得挺有乐子 剧情没法深究

[MVFF@Roxie] 过于注重反套路，使剧情猛烈但缺乏复杂。虽然空间窄小，但不知为何并未感到密闭

【巴西】寻求庇护的毒枭，一个在挣扎生计与照护的家庭；彼此相撞，产生了时而危险、不忘有趣同时缓慢酿造冲突的反应。结局有几分意外（更或是为之一振），也曾将前面部分剧情进程缓慢产生的困怠果断推开。比想象中有意思。

Opening Film at Mill Valley Film Festival, BAMPFA. Kevin Jagernauth为多伦多影展TIFF写的评论得我心：It’s a thriller without a ticking clock, and a drama juggling religion, illicit relationships, moral corruption, and spiritual hypocrisy with a framework that’s too slack even for the aesthetic accomplishments to bridge.

Engaging social-realist, dark humor slow-burn thriller. I probably expected more from Brazil arthouse but this leans more into the genre film realm with a tried and true style and formula (3rd world thriller as opposed to the western ones, zero in on the common theme of how poverty drives one to do the unthinkable yaliyada)
