道格与朋友在污水湖发现了怪物，一边做着成为大英雄消灭怪物的梦，一边被窜进屋里的脚印吓坏，怪物并不庞大，戴个假发还能冒充道格的奶奶，长着小神龙的样子，完全是个笨笨的宠物，但大人们极力得到它，当然有谋利的想法，道格们必定伸出援手。
